I didn't know it was already quarter to 6am... Too late for my 7:30am class. But I felt the urge to make it through. But I felt horrible as I've been stranded on the traffic for almost an hour. And I thought I'll be having another mark of absent. I am not afraid of having another one, but I didn't want to learn nothing today from Mam Mariano's lessons. So while waiting for the FX to move due traffic, I told myself; "Hey, I need to make it. If she's inside the class already, I should ask her to let me come in. I'll tell her it's okay if she marked me absent, I just don't want to learn nothing."
It was already 8am. But I did not want to lose all my hope. I almost ran. And I've seen a classmate heading downstairs to photocopy a material. He said, "Bilisan mo, nagpapapasok pa si Mam."
I arrived a few minutes after her. She's already inside the room. I was outside. Glancing at my classmates,and they were actually staring at me. Then I smiled to our prof. Her eyes widened, but she's smiling. Guess she had a good mood today. She told me, "Once you are marked absent, it couldn't be changed. Go on and enter." And it was such a relief.
Then afterwards, I find myself reciting (actually rapping) this poem with my classmates:

I found myself having fun. I'm really glad I haven't missed it. The next thing happened was taking-up a quiz in Philippine Literature. And it was kinda' freaking that I knew all the answers that I think there is a possibility that I can have a perfect score.. (well, pag nangyari yon.. magpapanobena ako..harhar)^__^
